I get high teens, low twenties so you're not the only one.

I average 30 mpg with city driving on 18's with 265 tire in the rear. If I actually get to freeway speed I average 75-80 MPH. I fill up around 330 miles when the fuel light turns on. It really depend on how you drive, my friend mpg average 24-26 mpg, but when i drive his car I got similar to my own car of 30 mpg.

I wonder how many if you are calculating your fuel mileage manually or just going by what the dash says. If you have a tune it could be affecting the accuracy of what the mpg gauge in the dash reports.

That being said, I'm trying to figure out how you guys are getting in the mid teens. Are you guys riding around two gears lower than required and revving to 7500 in every gear?

Just a ton of stop and go traffic... I live about 5 minutes from where I work (only did 5k miles this year). Sometimes I have fun and rev pretty high and rev match but not enough to make that the main contributor to my low mpg.

And like I said I got up to 35mpg on the highway to Seattle and back.

I'll comment again since I ran down through another tank, This tank I averaged 28.6 (Hand figured). I get the 35mpg and such until I get to town and it's constant stop and go. I'd get up to 40mph and fourth gear only to stop again.

I get worse mileage in stop and go traffic than I do lapping.

35mi commute (one way), 80% freeway, lots of WOT when coming off on-ramps
28.x MPG on 91 octane, the 'x' is the only thing that varies as I change my driving style

Did LA to Vegas and hit 36mpg on winter 91 r+m/2. I think I could have done 37 easy if I had stayed at the speed limit the whole way. Have underpanels waiting install and looking at a proper diffuser.

Is anyone having such problems? Thanks in advance!
This depends on factors.

1.How long you warm up your car
2.How much city driving your doing
3.How much freeway cruising your doing
4.How you drive/shift
6.Mods
7.What kind of tune
5.MT/AT
6.What gas you get
7.How much E-Content is in your winter blend.

Personally when I drove 70% freeway to work everyday I avg'd 320 in the summer before gas light. After supercharger install I got 280.

Now that I live 3 miles from work and it takes longer to warm up the car then it does to drive to work I get 200 miles to a tank.

(i'm not complaining since I use to fill up 1-2 times a week and now I fill up once every two weeks.)

Life is crazy. If it's not smoking or knockn enjoy the car.

On another note my wifes WRX gets way worse gas mileage then my charged FRS. She goes 200miles (same distance to work) on a 14gal tank vs our small 12g tank... Shit could be worse.

I did 31.8mpg from orlando to Miami and back last weekend. Turbos ftw lol. Could get more if I let it stay in closed loop a bit longer.

Lifetime average on my car (based on an app that uses km's driven and volume of fuel to fill) is 8L/100km (29.4mpg), and that's with me commuting into Toronto almost it's entire life so far. It's mixed city/highway, but also a lot of stop and go in places on the highway so it's more like city driving.
