Although I am not yet an owner of a GT86, I am already making a mods-to-do list and changing the final gear ratio is really high on the list.

I am considering the 4.88 option but for those looking at other ratios, MFactory offers 4.44 and 4.67 FGR's.

You're probably no longer looking, however I have updated my post with more information.

If you're getting a manual there's no real need for a 4.88, 4.67 or 4.56 are where it's at for you. The 4.88 is best used for autos because us auto owners have a very long transmission ratio that causes a "bog" from a dead start. If you go 4.88 with a manual plan to stay normally aspirated and not that highway mileage will suffer as will your top speed.

Any update on if someone has gone with the 3.73s or anything comparable to that from the stock 4.10s i am boosted and hate how it revs out now i run cars with 3.55s and i have to shift so much compared to them and seems like i am always fighting to stay in boost at the right time or right speed
