Thanks Andy. Ok got it....that's because the rear shock is more inboard which then affects the motion ratio yea?

Another questions: Bilstein specs the ride height to be between 30-50mm lower from stock. What would happen if i'm unable to go that low (steep driveway) and set the ride height at say 20mm lower.....therefore putting it 10mm outside the specified range?

Would that mean I'll technically have 10mm less droop? Doesn't seem like a big deal on paper, but would running outside the specified range damage the shock/strut internals (i.e. topping out and blow the damper)?

Fitment looks great from pics, looks almost flush really. Maybe slightly tucked...

You would be fine at a 20mm drop. You'd have approx 10mm less droop but 10mm more bump travel.

Anyone know if the oem top mounts can be fitted without spring compressor?

I can't find my damn spring compressor and we don't get free rentals over here....

Give it a shot, have a buddy push down while you start threads on the nut.

It's not the recommend way to do it but sometimes works out if in a bind.

Looking at the pictures again I just realised that the rear shocks doesn't have any bump stops? I'm assuming you'd need to re-use the OEM bumps?

Also I find it odd that they don't provide the nice blue dust boots for the rear shocks....

I know you guys run Fortune Autos on at least one of your cars. Would you recommend these of the price-comparable FAs?

Yes these Bilsteins are awesome. You don't get top hats like you do with the Fortunes, but the Bilsteins will be amazing for a daily driver that just wants to get lower and have a great ride with no fuss. Awesome solution IMHO.

I've just installed them over the weekend and they're awesome. Damping is really good, not crashy and very little increase in NVH. Felt so much better than the Eibach Pro-Kits on factory shocks.

Can't go wrong with these in that use either.
