I'd call it a toss up. The only negatives I see with the FR-S are the light up badges (2 Fast 2 Furious yo!) and the color (but I haven't seen one in person yet so maybe I'm wrong about the color).

I still drool over the headlights though

You can get it shipped, or you can fly over there, pick it up and make an awesome roadtrip out of it

I went with the FR-S 10 instead of the brz limited because:

- prefer the GT86 headlamps (this alone outweighs the rest below)
- prefer the FR-S bumper
- 2.11% less in interest than what subaru offers (here in Canada)
- lightning red not offered in Canada (would've had a huge influence otherwise)
- although, fighter jet grey color on cloudy days is so awesome
- no spoiler
- better dash (imo)
- illuminated emblems (a nice touch when approaching vehicle)
- fender 86 badge
- the exclusivity

to get the 10 series, i was willing to sacrifice:
-leather/alcantara seats (prefer all-leather actually)
-heated seats (i had aftermarket ones that worked really well, will add to FR-S)
-fog lights (they can be added to FR-S later on anyway)
-trunk cover (costs only $40 online)
-underbody cover (i'm not that anal about ~0.01 difference in drag coefficient)
-vanity mirror and door courtesy lighting (don't care about these at all)

it was a hard decision between the BRZ limited and the 10-series FR-S since they each have their pro's and con's, but in the end, i found the 10-series to be the better option for me.

I think Fog-lights are a dealer installed option maybe?

Here is how you order from Clint. He can have the car delivered to you in CA if you don't want to drive it. It should still be considerably cheaper to have the BRZ Limited delivered than getting the 10 Series locally.

Thanks for letting me know. It is good to know that people can vouch for him. Yea another member told me about him last night and I got in touch with him today. We need to run a petition for him to change his name from Clint Earhart to Clint Eastwood!!! . He is indeed the Jesus of BRZs

I am just waiting for him to get back to me...I wanted to know whether the 2014 models would be similar in price to the 2013 models or if he is just doing specials for the outgoing 2013.

Personally after much deliberation, the BRZ had nothing I preferred having. Used to like the boomerang lights, got old and tired of it, much prefer the GT86 which just seems right. Don't need heated seats, hate the spoiler with a passion, hate the mouthpiece bumper the most. Actually like the cloth seats, don't need the hassle of pieces of alcantara wearing out especially since I'll probably just swap out the seats for Recaro anyway. I use a broadway, don't need homelink. I can buy the trunk liner. BRZ mats look lame IMO. Prefer the FRS gauge cluster and overall front end. Spring rates are personal choice. Love the proximity badges. Hate the change to the dash logo light sequence which no long er fades out leaving the 10 and faux silver CF is yucky IMO. Paint color is unique and really grows on you over time. It's pretty cool if you like grey/cement/silver/blue w/ gold specks and slight green hues. Subie ain't got that.

For me the the question is not even 10 series v. BRZ, not even close. The question is 10 series or 2015 facelift/engine upgrade.

My 2 cents.

I have no preference for heated seats either (i will be putting in aftermarket ones) and I would like the frameless rearview mirror but autodimming with compass is better and homelink. I dont like hte BRZ dash material but i will be changing that as well eventually.

I actually love the exterior of the brz. I see a wicked smile on its face and not a guppy fish. AAnd yes this may sound nutts but I feel that the spoiler suits the brz whereas i hate it on the frs...yes i obviously know they are the same car but that is that lol.

Silver ignition is not a bad color but i like the subaru red best. I dislike all other frs colors. red is just way too common. orange is worst.

I like the DRLs on BRZ very unique but I have been back and forth between both the brz for frs for them.

Ultimately its the price i am getting the brz for...is why i am choosing it.

Its not that they dislike it, its just not what they have, so they hate it. They've convinced themselves it looks bad to justify the purchase of the model they bought. And these same FRS owners think their front bumper is god's gift to cars.

On the other hand, most 86 owners are indifferent. They're twins and look very much alike. To dislike one, you dislike the other. No other way around it. Only the cry babies constantly whine about it, even when its off topic and unsolicited, to try to validate whatever agenda they're trying to push.
Wtf, are you on crack? That's about one of the most insane posts I've seen on this forum.

Btw, Subaru liked the bumper so much they blacked it out to pretend it wasn't there. Yeah, those people are biased and insecure too.

Yeah, I don't like your taste in cars, I'm insecure. Congratulations on graduating from the Psychiatric school of FAIL.

And he will repeat these things in every other thread so the circle jerk can continue.
You do realize humans preferring one thing over another is normal right?
