The 350z did (lip spoiler delete), maybe the 370z. G35 did. G37 has a standard chrome piece in place of where the more expensive lip spoiler would go so you can consider that a delete. Those are all the current RWD coupes most related to the 86 I can think of coming from Japan, sadly.

Honestly, I think that the BRZ would look DAMN good with the TRD spoiler that's been shown...the one that looks like an STI spoiler.

I do like the naked look as well, but I also like the fact that apparently, the spoiler serves to smooth out turbulance at the back of the car and actually gives it a slightly lower coefficient of drag.

Hard decision. If the spoiler were better looking and still did the same thing.....gah.

I voted for the spoiler delete but only because I would like to have the option. One way or the other my car will have a spoiler on it. Just might be one from the fr-s or a nice aftermarket lip. Hopefully the holes from the factory spoiler will align with the fr-s one.

The trunks are the same but I forgot who pointed it out but there's a VIN sticker or badge under the trunk hood. not sure if that will be a problem.

I did, that's a big problem since it won't be number matching anymore if you swap the trunk. Not saying it'll be some collectors item but when you do sell the car it might raise some questions.

Who would even check a trunk VIN, honestly? And if it didn't match, so what?

Then it raises questions; Why was it replaced? Was the car in an accident? Was the new trunk put on correctly? Does it seal/close properly? Was the new trunk off of a stolen and stripped car?

When selling a car, the fewer number of stories the car has, the better. It might not matter to some, but it would to some others.

I voted for the option simply because I think people should have the choice.

I will most likely be buying the premium, but I want the spoiler.

I will probably find another owner of a limited who doesn't want the spoiler and trade trunk lids with them.
