In the meantime, we also have a new BRZ on order which will be used for the other versions of those parts as well as continued naturally aspirated engine development (itb's etc).

btw, you don't run ITB's and an intake manifold on the same car, it is one or the other. Unless you count a sealed aribox surrounding the trumpets as a manifold, which it isn't :happy0180:

a full n/a build with cams, intake manifold, good header, tuning etc would be fun, if you could get close to 250whp, dont see why we cant get 220+ in the near future.

With cams 220 is definitely doable and likely 250 as well. Right now our cars make peak power around 7k and 200whp (e85). If we can hold that same torque to 8k that is 230whp already.

A lot of people keep underestimating this engine. First with forced induction now with n/a. Everyone seems to forget this car is barely a year old but is being compared to engines with 5 or 10 years of mod development

OK, i see. So, same function as what i was referring too with " Unless you count a sealed aribox surrounding the trumpets as a manifold, which it isn't"... Obviously i was wrong about the "sealed box" not being a manifold in this case

if Porsche can produce a 4 liter motor to put out 500 horsepower there's no reason the Subaru motor can't put out 250 or more horsepower out of two liters. all that is needed is the right internal part and computer programming
