Dito.
Besides, I merely see optical "tuning" and no real performance STI parts. Hope that comes soon.

I expected to see some kind of suspension parts. Sway, bars, springs, shocks. But there's nothing there.

Yup, these accessories and knick-knacks are laughable, I hope the aftermarket responds with better parts.

Love the child seats (heck I just like having a back seat)... getting a baby just so I can utilize it.

Is anyone else deeply annoyed by the battery cutoff decal in the "graphics" kit? Or am I just crazy in the head?

I like that we'll probably be able to mix & match aftermarket stuff from the BRZ and FRS. I'm thinking TRD duck bill spoiler & STI front lip extension.

And you're right, that's completely rediculous.

Using logical reasoning does anyone have an idea of what the STI will weigh in at with the carbon fiber roof? My guess is the same as a stock BRZ from the additional performance features.

It would depend on how much the hood weighs stock, CF is light no matter what but if the hood is small the difference wont be much.

EX: Installed a CF hood on my brothers SRT4 year back I could lift both hoods with one arm easy because its a small hood but could still tell the difference how little it was.

With that said every pound lost help.

Well the MY02-07 WRX STI roof panel comes in at around 26-30lbs. Id imagine that the BRZ with much less surface area and overall lighter materials used during manufacturing to keep the weight down, will come in at 18-20lbs.

If a quality carbon roof is produced, it would need to be 4.5-6lbs to make a real difference in actual performance. We really want to ideally aim to shave 25% of the weight on the roof.

If the STI exhaust is the equal to the SPT exhaust, it'll probably be well constructed and sound great (not too loud for those who worry about that).

Shocked that there's no spring kit personally. Maybe TRD will have that, as they've had it for other cars.

"Searching for key words 'supercharger', none found".

The decals suck yea but the deck lip spoiler's funky shape is likely for allowing the air coming from the side of the car to meet air on top of the car at the same speed. Not worth 500 bucks though.

All this carbon roof talk is just masturbation fodder for the bench racers. No one's going to actually be able to take any remotely discernable advantage from it. Just something to tell your friends your car has.
