Interested in the footwell leds. Where dies it connect to? Does it turn off by opening/closing four or it it an on/off switch?

Depending on how you wire it up. If you connect them to your door/dome light, it will turn on when the door are open. If you connect them to the parking light wire, it will turn on when you switch on the parking/headlight at night, so there are many different way to do it.
