Hey just curious - isn't the Vortech intercooler a symmetrical front/back design? If so, couldn't you just turn the thing around and have the "back" now facing outwards without the silver Vortech branding showing?

No, the bottom mount on the intercooler is on the rear (side without "Vortech"). Also the top brackets are located on the front.

Without a plate there it's very easy to see through the grill to the radiator when stock. The intercooler would be even closer and thus easier to see.
