I took mine from a Mazda. I had to modify it a bit so the locks will engage. I just hit the back of the pin with a flat head screw driver and done!

Why does the turn signal need 3 wires?

Apparently they are two filament bulbs. One for the blink and one for staying on as parking lights. 3 wires required.

I ordered one, and will scavenge a wire / pin from the old connector for the third wire. I will take some pics in a couple of weeks when they get here.

I'm trying to pull the steering wheel off but it won't budge! Yes, the center nut is already removed. Is a steering wheel puller necessary or is there a trick to getting this damn wheel off?

Yeah, I ended up using a steering wheel puller. Even with the puller, a bit of force is required to break it loose.

  1. Bezels ~ $22x2=44 (Amayama or Nigel)
  2. Tundra Stalk ~$60 http://subarupartsforyou.com/cp_part...p?partid=23294 (Can also get JDM stalk with auto for future for ~$90)
  3. Outback Glass Fog Lamps $42x2=84 (subarupartsforyou.com)
  4. JDM Wiring Harness ~$32 (hokori-motor last price I got - would be less with larger qty) @Ebay or other source
Total = $220 DIY + various shipping costs to different locations

When I took my steering wheel off I just gripped at 3 and 9 o'clock / made sure I was pulling it straight and pulled like BOSS. It almost hit me in the chest if that gives any indication of how hard to pull.....
