to be honest, I'm not sure that joining a caravan to meet SoCal and drive up to Vegas will end up being realistic for me. In order to sell going to this thing to my wife, I may have to go to Vegas earlier, take her to see a show, maybe even caravan with other family. Just making it out there and joining you guys for the 2 days of the official event is a stretch, hopefully that will be enough to help represent CA even if I don't partake in all the pre- or post- events.

I hear ya, same boat here. Going to have activities that caters to the "boss" and slowly transition into my participation in the event. It's complicated, married folks would understand

I am following this thread as well. I have posted the ? About a caravan leaving Thursday and I am waiting feed back from SoCal. I know you guys have the long haul and was thinking Barstow would be an easy pick up point. That let's you guys come across the 58 from Bakersfield. How every we are still working the details. Additional we are waiting hotel info. But I would like to see every in the same hotel.

going backwards from there, I'm guessing SoCal caravan will roll out there to arrive on Thurs night. Meaning NorCal would have to roll out early Thurs morning to get down and meet with SoCal if we want to join up.

Anyone else thinking they need to take a whole week off? Like at least Weds-through-Monday (to drive home Sunday/recover Mon).

Check post #4 in the general thread for hotel info/pricing. Seems like the MGm is popular so far. I am officially in now but will prob stay at Excaliber cuz its hella cheap and still right across from MGM and the rest of the expo goers.

Posted in ichitaka's thread, but posting here as well. Count me in! I'm totally down for a Norcal caravan to Socal, and then a drive to LV from there.
