I did not know that they can only sell 10 BRZ for every 90 GT86 in the UK. This program is very factual.

According to the Top Gear Power Lap Wiki page, which I'll let you search for yourself, it ran about 6 seconds faster than that... Yes it has already been updated.

You and me both brotha, Amy friggin Macdonald.

My favorite part is how she loves her 458 Italia, my favorite supercar; and she hates the GTR like I do because it's just a big huge boat.

Yes a clear and definitive loss for the BRZ.

An ugly boat at that. Boring too.

Rwd + sexy = a whole lot more fun
than
Awd + big/ugly

Everyone here should know, we all chose an FR-S/BRZ over a WRX.

The GTR's AWD is just plain boring because of all the nannies.

I agree with him and I have driven one. It's just not the same as kicking the back end out on corners. Really it is all about the driver more than the car in the AWD Vs. RWD debate. RWD fans love that feeling of the car right before it looses control and strive to hold it there when driving. AWD fans love the rock solid feel and the break neck acceleration it offers. It is all based on what you personally like. I like RWD and the feeling of any second this car could get away from me and I get a real rush from that. In that price range I would go with the Viper or a Corvette over the GTR because it's what I like even if the GTR is faster.

yes it is preference. they both have their pros and cons.
but I wouldn't knock on a car that is pretty much legendary, and out performs cars more than double its price. respect the car for what it is.

I wasn't trying to bash the GTR it is a legend in it's own right having incredible acceleration and gives you an insane feeling of confidence on a track is not a bad car at all. I'm just not a fan of an AWD sports car because of how I like to drive. My friend loves his GTR and he was terrified of my Corvette because of how unpredictable it was which was the very reason I loved the vette. Nissan made the GTR very predictable which makes it very consistent and every racer loves to be able to count on their car to put up a good lap time, every time and for that they built a track legend.

Rallying I would always prefer an AWD platform, on tarmac RWD for me.
