got my brz a little while back:

stuff done so far:
none, just drive it and love it

planned:
have grimmspeed hood struts, need to install
have some chrome dome lamps for the front turn signals on order
have a nice fill plate to go around the seat heater switches on order
want to get an opti-coat done asap, need a referral for a good place
want to get tint asap, last car i tinted was 12+ years ago, need referral

I'm going for an oem+ sorta thing. Just adding a little class.

A matched spring and damper set is never a bad thing. Most folks with coilovers don't really need coilovers, they just like the word coilover.

After also posting in the suspension section of the forums, I got a lot of useful information and I thing that springs are going to be the answer I want. They achieve my goal and far as I can understand the brand I am choosing really doesn't mess with my struts.

We saw that thread. Plenty of good information. But to be clear, a spring is only as good as the damper controlling it. A spring & damper set is a great option for someone who wants trouble-free operation and does not need to adjust spring rates, ride height, damper settings on a regular basis (and most people don't).
