passenger airbag is detected by electrical currents and pressure, your phone has an electrical current in it, so it sets it off

Correct. But when I brought it in to the dealer multiple times since June no one could figure it out until I found info on the forum to bring to their attention.

Approaching 2000 miles. Only a squeaky drivers side window, which is actually pretty damn annoying.

Thought I heard crickets when I stopped one time, but never again.

Other than condensation and crickets, no other issues.
~4500 miles today, Had the car since July 19th.

It is a first year production car, there will be issues to some and none at all to others. Regardless, I probably only seen about 2% of all FR-S drivers complain about the car. Either that they are mad, haters, can't afford or just the usual kind of person who loves to bitch and whine just because they get out of buying the car.
To me, it is a great car. I love it.

Just passed 1400 miles. I have the fuel pump chirping but no other problems.

The chirping doesn't bother me, and I really don't feel like dealing with my dealer over such a minor thing, nor do I want to take the chance that they might break something else or that I may have to spend weeks without my car waiting for parts.

BRZ, 1600 miles. Zero problems. Changed trans and diff oil to Redline at 1000mi. No idle bobble, no HPFP squeal, no deck popping, no window control problems, nada. I couldn't be happier!

Almost 1500 miles, and none of the issues reported in the trouble threads. My only problem is that the blasted dealer can't seem to find me a front license plate bracket- not really a problem since I don't want to put it on anyway.
FYI, my ECU was flashed before it was delivered to me.

Only issue for me is fuel pump crickets. Dealer ordered parts as per TSB so hopefully that's the only issue I have!

Zero issues. now to go find some wood....

3,000 mi., so far no issues. Aside from rattle in rear from louder exhaust.

I guess I don't consider this an issue. It's just the way the tech used works. Simple solution for more is to not put the cell phone in the seat when its charging, or lean it so the plug is up away from the seat on the bolster.

If we are counting this as an issue, then we all have this one.
