I think redline is at 7.300, fuel cut-off at 7.500 RPM. I am slightly disapointed. I hope it will still make 205-210 PS and 220-230 Nm flat curve.

Love the Aston Martin Vantage and Maserati GranTurismo.

Any idea which Civic Type R it is?
FD2? FN2? Or the older models?

I want to know the power and weight of the type R civic. A cobalt turbo SS I think ran a low 8 minutes.

If you are talking about the Production model Cobalt SS, that time should have been done on the Nurburgring north loop.

The VLN races run on the full circuit which includes the GP circuit + Nurburgring north loop.

FT86 also finished ahead the golf GTI-RS, another Civic Type R, Scirocco TDI, M3, Renault Clio Cup...

@ Kiwi: No idea.

I thought the times was for the whole ring? Isn't that the purpose?

@ Kiwi: No idea.
Which makes me wonder if that faster Type R had some other modifications we don't know about to give it a lap time almost a minute faster than the 86

7.5k probably means don't expect more than 210hp btw.
If the indicated redline is 7.5k fuel cutoff is probably around 8k. :happy0180:

ST is pretty much an open class from what I could gather. The Civic is running 47th overall and doing 9:29s so it clearly has some power. Unfortunately they haven't been able to repeat the 39 from qualifying yet, their laptimes so far have been in the 40s. The S2000 did an 11 so hopefully they can match that. Even if it's almost as fast as an S2000, I'll be happy

The ring times you see in magazines are bridge to gantry and don't include the GP track

The race lap is 24.37km vs. 20.6 for the magazine lap times.

Here's the ft86 finishing

A quick search online shows that the Civic Type R should be the FN2 model.

Curious as to how many laps it'll do.
