im not particularly impressed with the r32 but i am curious as to a)why you call them slow as a retort to people saying the skyline isnt what it used to be and b)why you keep bringing up facts only to get angry when i question the credibility
The credibility is out there, just you choose to look the other way.

I know I'm talking to a brick wall with you guys, so carry on believing in your myths...

Put the shoe on the other foot. You post something up. I've told you the truth.

What, you think the R32/3/4 GTR is the fastest car on the planet or something?

K, after coming back from playing some soccer, I read is this? Really?

I don't care if you have driven more GT-R than me. I don't care. What's that gotta do w anything? Is that tells me you know GT-R more than me? Who want your left nut anyways?

Sorry what? Have you ever look at the rec? You better get your facts right.

Nissan Skyline GT-R (not R35 series) fastest is #2 (Nismo Z-tune) w 1:01.15 vs fastest Civic is ranked #87 (Mugen Type-R RR) w 1:06.68

& please don't give that Nismo Z-tune isn't stock BS. If that was the case, Mugen Type-R RR isn't either.

If you wanna say stock vs stock that's the fine. Wanna do pure stock no after tune shop bs? K, look at Rank #43 R34 vs #107 for Civic. Even so you claim weak R32 beat Civic (R32 ranked #106).... btw that R32 had 16" old spec tires.

FYI, all these rec was made by so you claim Best Motoring (bout 98% of records).

Yes, 100% agree, that was the list I was using. This is on a race track, in flat out race mode, very different conditions to the street you agree?

As I said, even talking stock, an Ek civic type R is quicker around Tsukuba than an R32 gtr. And that is on a track, let alone a street.

Apart from the R35's, I would say in all fairness, the first 'real' GTR on that list is #43. As I said before, look at all the evo's ahead of it.

My first point: R32 gtr's are nothing on a r35, let alone an r33 or r34. It's evolution. I've driven all of them, and the r35 is a quantum leap ahead of the pack. It's typical Japanese, everything just works. Maybe people want that 'I'm going to die' feeling when driving their car?

(And Nismo Z tune stock? and neither is Mugen RR)

And an R32 is 3 seconds and change faster around Ebisu than an EK9. You could go on all day really.....

Track & street been different? Different where? There's a road to follow and turns to make. what's the difference from the track?

Evo beating GT-R time? Who cares. That wasn't even in the top.

Your first point? No, your first point was

Your point was saying R32/33/34 is slower than Integra Type-R... but there's no proof to proven your statement.

EK Civic Type-R is faster around Tsukuba than R32... which I've proven wrong by showing that rec. EK wasn't even in the list. R32 have blown EK away

Your point is your bro don't know how to drive. I got that one loud and clear.

& EK is over 10 yrs old. AE86 is close to 30. Countach is close to 35.. and the point is?

Without proof, you're not convincing no one here.

You gonna do without proof, so here's mine. GT-R>Civic Type-R stock vs stock, tune vs tune, & street or track.

If you have driven more GT-R than me and don't see the statement to be true, you haven't driven actual GT-R before

The honda type R's have 4.7 diff gears. They are rockets on the street.

its not that everybody is a gtr fanboy but you talk about it like the car is horrible and providing one example where a civic is faster isnt enough to change anyones mind

It's all depends on place isn't it? I sure can go through top speed on 90 corner on the street just like track. I just don't

'man over machine', and 'drivers cars'...people wonder why I absolutely refuse to let go of the AE86.

There's a reason my toys are old school. Its one of the reasons I'm excited about the FR-S. From the sound and look of it all, it appears to be a car a 'driver' can enjoy pushing its limits, without fighting against a super ECU that wants to control everything.

Edit: Just noticed this thread shifted topics pretty quick in the later pages. We doggin' on the R35? Pro's and Cons to the car, but I'd say everything given, the R35 has held up to the legacy of the "GT-R" pretty well. Its just way modernized, too much so for me to be super into it.

And you guys are arguing the wrong GT-R's. Real men drive KPGC10's w/ Individual Carbs. R32 is still my second favorite. Would rather have a JZA70/80 than one though, but that's my fanboiness coming out.

@fat: I don't think that's a scientifically based list on Ichi's part, its just his personal pref. in Japanese cars. Sorta like how mine is Toyota>Nissan>Mazda>Subaru>Mitsu>Honda.
