I ordred the BlackVue 400HD, can I use a 32/64GB class 10 card? I'd hate to buy one only to find out it doesn't support it.

I have another house in Virginia and have been there for 3 years (don't have residency since it's temporary, only for another 2 years). One thing I will say for certain is the first year i was in VA, I saw more accidents happen than I had for the 2 prior years that I was driving in NJ, and that was still more than I could remember even years past that. The first snow I witnessed there, dear god that was bad. People do not know how to drive there. It makes me sad that I saw 3 accidents, 2 of them being pretty bad ones, when it was drizzling.....drizzling. And you think NJ drivers are bad. Bad drivers exist everywhere.

(As an FYI, I have been doing autocross and drag racing for 3 years)

I concur about the "bad drivers everywhere" statement. A lot of places get bad reputations, but my experience is that you need to drive just as defensively no matter where you go. It's always confusing to me how everyone complains of how bad other drivers are. You never hear someone explain how poor their driving is. Then I get in the car with them, and I'm digging my fingernails into the dash, or having a heart attack as they tailgate someone at 70mph. I'm 26 and have had zero accidents -- something that not many people I know can say. Most people claim i'm simply lucky, but I honestly believe that my driving habits and mannerisms contribute to this significantly.

Oh, and on people driving in inclement weather: I live in Cincinnati/Kentucky and we do get snow. If you want to see poor driving, just check out Cincinnati after a few inches. I'd say check it out after six, but people simply barricade themselves in their basements with cans of beans and bottled water at that point. Hell, I drive my Celica around all winter with no issues and people with AWD Audi's are sitting inside discussing how dangerous it is outside at the moment.

These videos are entertaining in that kind of train-wreck horror-show kind of way, so I'll probably keep watching. My favorite was the reactions, though! Want more of those!

Just so you know, it already comes with a 16 gb card. Either one will fill up fast but then just re-record over. As I posted previously, this thread has tons of info about the blackvue. The video helped out a lot when setting it up.

Good stuff. The camera is nice for catching these near collisions. I think for most collisions, there is obvious physical damage which most of the time would accurately point to the person at fault.

The intersection ones would be the best ones to record, because they are always, "he said they had a green light, she said they had a green light" which would end up being a 50/50 dual fault in the eyes of an insurance company.
