Woohoo - looking forward to it. The good thing about an early draft is you feel like the season is starting earlier than it is.

I got roped into a family function Saturday (actually Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) but I should be able to break away for the draft.

I tried a couple of mock drafts and didnt notice anything tricky. Am I missing something?

I haven't done a mock draft this season but there shouldn't be anything tricky. It's also good to try different slots (either being 1st, 3rd, 5th or 8th) just to see how your picks pan out. That will give you multiple options just in case someone picks your intended player since we don't know the draft order.

Also since we have 8, I think everyone is going to have a stacked team compared to a league that has like 12.

Yeah, we should all have pretty stacked teams. I did a few mock drafts and the only problem I had was my own fault. I added a kicker to the right list and clicked the X, but apparently didn't click it hard enough? lol and accidently drafted the kicker over my WR. Just something I'll be sure not to repeat during the real thing. Just have to check the list twice!

I only ask because I thought someone mentioned earlier that Yahoo was a little different. Hah yeah these mocks have been pretty funny. The teams are very stacked.. and people are willing to gamble early it seems.

It's almost time fellas! Don't forget to set your draft order if you can't make the live draft or think you might be late. Also you might want to run a system test from the yahoo FFL site to make sure you have the correct updates to participate.

Yeah that happened Friday. Feel bad for the guy... not only is it a season-ender its likely a career-changer (hopefully not a career-ender). I didn't even notice that you picked him up.

hey what do you guys think of daniel thomas? sleeper pick or dud? one of my bench players (david garrard) got cut so i'm tryin to get him off waivers, but i'm currently 7th on the waivers list in my league.

dud, reggie bush is gonna get the start most likely, if not the start, he'll get more carries

Miami let LJ go and by they way they swung Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown last season, I think both are going to share carries.

Rumor has that other teams are intersted in Garrard, one being Miami. Who is your other QB?
