black and white always looks good. i just plasti dip'd all my emblems on my asphalt fr-s. 86 piston padge and everything lol.

so i went to the toyota dealership today to get a price check on the avalon and corolla rear emblems. the avalon emblem was only 9 bucks, but the corolla was $30. you guys need to make sure you double check if you go through with your dealer's parts dept. because the only emblem they had that matched the part number "90975a2003" (corolla rear) was in SATIN silver (like the scion emblems) and NOT chrome. so i settled for the avalon emblem which was chrome and snatched a chrome corolla emblem off ebay for $15.

sine we've found a way to go around buying emblems that fit the FR-S, has there been any success finding wheel/center caps? i came across these http://www.ebay.com/itm/4x-TOYOTA-Wh...66c62a&vxp=mtr but i believe they are too big.

The ones I got were chrome and not satin silver. Lucky for me, i get a discount through all the dealers. I paid $34 for both after tax.

The money I saved I used to offset the cost of the wheel caps from Carson Toyota.

Noobish question, but any recommendations on double sided emblem tape? Or can you buy it from a local dealership

Car color is Raven, let it sit in the South Florida sun for 30 minutes.
I wet the area with hot water from the tap.
I put on thick gloves and wrapped 8 lb test fishing line around my fingers, slid it behind the emblems and used it like a saw. It took about 1 minute per emblem to break lose the emblem.
Grabbed it with my ungloved hands and peeled it off slowly.
Bathed the area in Goo Gone, let sit about 30 seconds, rubbed with a hot water cloth.
It came off very easily, almost like rolling up taffy.
I cleaned the area with Dawn dish washing soap, dried it, waxed it with Turtle wax.

This is how I did it, I'm sorry if I upset those who don't like my method.

I used 3M Adhesive/Wax remover. The rear emblem I just pryed off by hand and it came clean off with no adhesive residue. The front, I had to use the 3M adhesive remover and used my plastic decal removal tool.

I ordered these to stick on top. They are a tad bigger, but I think there's some room to cut around.

Do we know if Subaru emblems will fit on an FR-S? Also, does anyone know the part code for the BRZ?
