By adjusted I assume you mean valve clearance. I didn’t bother reshimming. They were all still within spec though. More on the loose side than tight. If it was a simple process I would have improved the clearance though. I kind of wrote it off as the valve not seating well, engine being cold and dry and the fact that I was turning it over buy hand rather than by the starter. It was a big discrepancy though and it was all leaking past one intake valve.
I missed all this on the first read. Did you lap all your valves and check them with prussian blue before final assembly?
