If anybody is curious, SerialNINE got back to me and told me they are shipping out 25 shifters for the CD009 soon to US vendors. Hopefully 1 of those comes to me lol.
Also just as an update, I haven't been doing much on the car lately. Had family come in and this weekend is Gridlife Midwest so the next couple of days i'll try to get a little bit done.

My shifter should be on its way! Unfortunately time is not my friend lately. I've been extremely busy and the mixture of 90 degree + high humidity weather has also not been very helpful in Michigan.
I'm looking to get back into the garage today hopefully. I've done some welding on those trans tunnel cuts I made and also on the front lower core support. Looking to clean those up a bit before final fitment of engine and trans happens. Then i'd love to install that trans mount and never take the engine and trans out AGAIN! lol Goals for the above are hopefully by the end of this weekend.

My Lexus is300 m85 differential and DSS axles are in!
Also installed my driveshaft for mock up purposes so I could see if the engine/trans were far enough back.

Yes! A slightly lower ratio and from what I hear these diffs can handle a decent amount of power. Long term plans are to have my oem BRZ diff built within a year or 2. Depending on price, i'd also consider a ford 8.8 rear.

There was not enough clearance between the upper oil pan and the subframe and steering rack. Everybody suggested different mounts. I ignored all that and took PURE's suggestion of shaving down the support strips on the pan. Yes they make the pan stronger, but this was the route i preferred to take and it turned out pretty good. It doesn't look like much but these things are almost a full 1/2" thick. Which is how much room i gained and i'm happy with that.
![]() This is pretty close to the final fitment. ![]() Finally got the trans mount in. This was a big milestone. I battled with opening the trans up (for like a month, seriously) so to see this mount in and the trans in there damn near brought tears to my eyes. ![]() This super mega chinese intake manifold was not suppose to fit. but with literally zero effort it fits perfectly fine. Doesn't hit the abs module, CMC, or the brake master. ![]() The fuel rail however does hit the CMC. Part of the rail and the fitting hits it. ![]() The plan is to chop this bugger off and weld on a -10 90 fitting pointing down (towards the ground). Updates to come regarding this. I'll show/confirm fitment as well once it's done.

Another quick update, I received my manifold and fuel rail from a local shop. I had the ebay TB flange cut off and a GM LS flange welded on. I also had the fuel rail shortened and a 90 degree 8 AN fitting welded to the end (to clear the clutch master).
Here is how it looks: ![]() The new GM LS flange: ![]() Here is a close up of the fuel rail fitting. Yes it looks ugly but I plan to clean it up before final install. The important thing is it won't leak and the injector housing has not been affected by this: ![]() Here is the fitment with the rail installed, pretty good clearance all around: ![]() Close up of the manifold by the brake booster: ![]() This is an easier and cheaper solution than spending thousands on other intake manifolds. Any questions, please ask

Looks terrific! How are you looking for the OEM swaybar,,, will it still work?? I've been obsessing a bit over mine as there's no room behind the cross member on my swap.

To be honest, it's been sitting on the ground for months and I haven't tried to put it back in yet. I think it will fit though because the first couple times I test fit this engine I left the sway bar in. After the second time I got tired of moving the engine so much to avoid it, I pulled it out. But when it WAS in, with the sway bar, it cleared pretty good. The trans adapter sat just behind the sway bar, maybe like an inch behind it.

My buddy came over that is a fabricator and welded up intercooler piping. I bought a 45* 4" to 3" coupler for the LS throttle body. ($16 on ebay)
Had a 90* vibrant 2.5" fitting welded to the turbo, and bought a 2.5" to 3" coupler for that. ($50 for the vibrant 90 plus welding, $7 shipped for the coupler and it's mishimoto brand) Then I bought the CX Racing universal intercooler kit on ebay for $121 shipped. Came with a bunch of piping, couplers, and t bolts. I have more than half of that leftover as extras as we didn't need much. The CX Racing piping is amazing, it's .5mm thicker than vibrant piping and it welds really nicely. No pics available because he just tacked it here and took it to his shop to fully weld up so I will get pictures once I have it all back and installed. He charged me $150 to fit, cut, and weld everything up for me. That's extremely fair, I have about $600 into the intercooler, piping, custom fab work, couplers and tbolts. Can't complain.

My friend just finished the welds on the intercooler piping. He just needs to put a bead roll on the ends and I can install them.
