no weight reduction today may have added a few ounces Loden Black Chrome Emblem. Feels like solid metal. They sent me the wrong one for the rear so I'm waiting on a reply from them

You have the WRX Wilwood front brake kit, right? Are you happy with it? How is it working with stock rear brakes? Too much dust?
Do you know anything about the following kit? https://www.rr-racing.com/v/mobile/p...tid=gt86fbk005 |

It looks like you are supercharged so I don't recommend this kit for a heavier high powered car. I would go with the Specific Wilwood kit. Those RR brakes look decent too My setup is really because I'm down to ~2500lbs and wanted a lightweight brake kit that gave a bump in performance. Its basically a Stock + kit that improves driving response (-30lbs unsprung front weight loss) |

@mrg666
I think the WRX kit would be fine if you're not tracking it. If you are I'd look at something else. This kit is very durable and drops 10lbs a corner. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94608 |

Tom, what size wheels and tires are you using with the WRX kit?
I wonder if 16" wheels will fit over them. |

Nice work man! Car is looking great. I am a weight reduction nut as well. Do you have the part number for that wrx wildwood kit? I'm all about the smaller / thinner rotors.. It's not the same thing but I have Strange Drag brakes on my Stang and it was a huge difference overall.

Its only really 1mm thinner than stock. I just don't want a 300hp FI person thinking its going to be significantly better than stock. Its meant to be 30lbs lighter while giving equal to slightly better performance. The link above is for the stock WRX kit. The only thing extra is the different caliper mounting bolts. Wilwood part #230-10425 Or you can buy the whole kit from ft86speedfactory with the bolts. http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/wilw...l#.W0NxUmcUnX4 |
