This is by far one of the most difficult things to do well. It's not even as easy as paint, because that just takes training and can be corrected, but if you crease the vinyl wrong or drop it on the concrete, you're screwed and have to start over on that panel. I did the hood on one car, and fuel door on 2, and after the struggles of those two pieces, I'd almost rather just pay someone else to do it for me who has the patience and the practice.
Vixen, whatever you do, don't let that guy go, he's skilled, will be employed with his own excellent business for as long as he likes and you're never going to find that kind of stability long term. |
