Yes. In the Canadian Army they have what is called a Levee on New Years day and the food served is traditionally game. We would have venison, moose, wildfowl and beaver stew. It is not something you run down to the corner store and pick up but it does get eaten.


Ironically I can however run down to the store and get kangaroo meat!
