Sorry for OT but do you have a part number? There are 3 different STI knobs in the catalogue and none have part numbers listed.

Switchlanez your car is BEAUTIFUL. It's an inspiration. Sorry to threadjack, but to help nix:

SG117CA010 18375 Yen for the leather
SG117CA000 8925 Yen for the duracon/plastic

I already PM'd him the info to prevent threadjacking, but oh well. Now more people know, which is all good!

switch, my shift knob and such just left Japan today. Does it usually take a full week before items ship from Japanparts? Or is it a fluke because I ordered last week right after New Year's? I got an email from Yuki last week apologizing for their not shipping my items right away because they had New Year's off, but I was surprised to see my tracking show that the items just started shipping today.

Sorry about that. FWIW, it's a fluke because Japan is on holiday from at least the 31st until the 3rd. They were probably getting caught up on old orders. I'm in the same boat; misery loves company.

Heh, I don't have any mods planned in the near term so I'm cool with threadjacks like this to keep my thread alive lol

Yeah JP just got back from holidays last week I think? Then they had to order your knob and probably just received it from STI which explains why they are just now shipping to you. Holidays tend to push things out a few days but you'll get your goodie.

Gotcha. Yeah, I was surprised when Yuki was all, "We were on holiday" and I was thinking, "Come on, Yuki! It's THURSDAY!" haha

I'm waiting on several pieces to arrive, so it's whatever. I just know that I'm going to start ordering from there more often and I just wanted to know what to expect.

Does the off-blue of your STI lugs bother you ever? I'm going with a blue and black theme for my black BRZ, but I'm still leaning towards the black STI lugs.

They're far away enough from the paint, surrounded by black, and tiny enough for me to not notice much difference nor bother me. I considered black as well since their demo/concept car's lugs are black but I was aiming for some consistency with the BRZ GT300 color scheme which has a blue center mount lug:

Yup! But the rubber skirt flap attached to the underside absorbs all the damage.

That's what it's for? Makes much more sense...hm, perhaps I should add it to my order (which has been delayed!).

I'm surprised you didn't realize what the skirt was for, OE. I don't like it because it makes the front lip look awkward, but it serves a purpose. I'd rather have a cheap front lip to protect my bumper, but a "cheap" skirt to protect my expensive front lip to protect my front bumper is also okay.
