The relay is build into the tail lights. It's truly plug and play, so no extra relay flasher is required.

The FT86SF special editions are set to arrive tomorrow!!! Gonna put them on in the parking lot after work and get some pics up. I'll do some first of the current black editions and then one of each.

For what it's worth, no reflectors to the sides=not legal. Smoked lens reducing rearward reflectivity and light emission=not legal. Not saying don't do it, but be aware of legalities. Have seen plenty of aftermarket lamps marked DOT, doesn't make them compliant.

Not to start an argument or try to act like a badass but I've been running the smoked lens ones for over a year now(olders ones are also not marked DoT compliant IIRC) along with no front license plate in IL which legally requires a front plate. I just drive respectfully when passing the police stations on my commute and keep an eye out for cops. As long as you are not speeding or driving dangerously it is probably not worth their time to even pull you over for tinted tails.

For sure, results may vary

local enforcement also varies, just pointing out that technically, DOT stamps on a light do not guarantee legality. Been burnt by this in the past, I had RECON lamps in a F150 and got pegged for them. What that outfit did was get approval for clear and red lenses, then ran tints through the mold...

I sometimes wish for there to be some online fit app to select car's color and try out looks of these taillights. Something like on some sites with online wheel selector.
