It's Revon - .devon suffix actually. The data is personally important to the victim but is not time sensitive. What do you think the chances are of a decryption tool being developed in the next year or so? If that's in the realm of possibility, he can wait it out.

I much prefer seeing a movie or series where I don't recognise any of the actors. This is very easy to do with foreign movies/series. I think Tom Cruise is a very good actor but when I see a movie with him in it I am always aware that it is Tom Cruise playing a part. He, the actor, can't escape his role.

I just started watching Fauda on Netflix. It is from Israel. Unsurprisingly, I don't know any of the cast and all of the actors are just the characters without any baggage.

I've noticed that as well. MomHawk and I have taken to watching British crime dramas together and because we don't know any of the actors I feel more vested in their "life story". Then, if one of the actors happens to show up in another show later, I find them totally unbelievable and see them as whatever character they were before, like they got an acting gig on the side but are still off somewhere doing their "normal job".

It happens a bit with familiar actors too though. For example, no matter how hard I try, when I watch Blue Bloods all I see is Thomas Magnum somehow became Police Commissioner and his boy-band son became a detective.

No matter what movie they are in:
Mell Gibson will always be Max
Arnold will always be a Model 101
Sigourney Weaver will always be Ripley
Robert Downey Jr will always be Ironman
Patrick Stewart will always be Picard
And so on.

I think the worst time I ever had forgetting an actors "main" character is William Shatner. Any other show or move with him in it is almost unwatchable to me since it is always "that is not what Kirk would do"

Kirk would have been all "Do I fight it or fuck it???"

I couldn't watch anything with Shatner until Boston Legal. That was funny.
