Not really sure… she own WRX, so it’s all going to that. She’s debating to buy wheels & pay lil extra out of pocket or buy several small parts & get it exactly $750. I gave her a recommendation that If she wanna do track this summer, she needs better pads. Project Mu pads I bought is more for street & not for track use, so she needs more aggressive pads. Of course, her struts are getting there too.

Sounds like you have the answer! Suspension and brake pads. Which Project Mu pads did you get? I just ordered the NS-C pads for the GR Yaris and hope they will work on the GR Corolla.

Stay away from the HC800’s unless you plan on swapping them out for street. They are terribly loud. Was the first track/street pad I ever used.

This fucking transmission noise is driving me nuts. Im beginning to think that maybe my clutch pedal and slave cylinder maybe back away from the fork a little too much? Is almost as if the fork was free and it causes a metallic rattling whenever the car is in gear and driving, with less rattling when it is not in gear. I’ve greased everything that I can think off and it is just so odd that if I take one finger and press it against the clutch, the rattle goes away when parked. When in gear and driving, the least amount of pressure against it i.e, to a point when the clutch cannot fully engage, or a deadzone,, the noise goes away.

Could it also be a defective cylinder?

does her luck work if she picks the numbers?

my dentist just spontaneously retired (no older than early 60's at the most), so tried a new dentist today. first 2 requirements were to find a place local, and somewhere that had saturday hours so i don't need to take off work to be there.

i knew 2 teeth had some issues, but he 'found' 9 cavities that need to be addressed to the tune of $2k.

yeah, i could use that lottery ticket.

but first, i think i'm getting a second opinion

I had Type-NS on my BRZ. It was fine on & off the track… but def not recommended for heavier cars. For her WRX was thinking of going Type-PS. They have higher temp tolerance (100c more). Or thinking of other brand… but only other one that I know is Winmax, which they haven’t brought to US in a while. Not a fan of Hawks or TopTech.

She tried that when her mom went to Vegas… no luck. She gotta literally try, I guess.

You're the second person to say that they're not a fan of Hawk.

I was looking at Project Mu and Endless for street pads as the OEM GRC pads are way too dusty, like one stop from a freeway offramp will cover your wheels dusty. I'd rather not subject the Work wheels to that. lol. I have no intentions of ever tracking either, so I hope the NS-C are going to be good enough (and will work to begin with). Otherwise, I'm going to have a $344 paperweight.

My previous dentist, which I stopped going to loooong ago, would magically find cavities with every visit. They were a "teaching" dentistry, so I'm pretty sure they put fillings into perfectly health teeth. They would also try to slip in services without me knowing (they assumed I wouldn't read over the work to be done before signing). They were the reason why I stopped going to the dentist for years and stopped trusting them. Current dentist is honest, and doesn't find issues with every visit. Actually corrected the shit job the previous dentist did on one of my teeth.
