Folks and I drove down to LA today for my grandmother's funeral; we could only have 6 relatives there due to COVID rules so we'll have to have a memorial later down the road when church-style services are allowed again. Nice beautiful spot in the San Fernando Valley, though it was hot AF today, 100 degrees.

Guy who officiated is an old family friend. Long-story so I can't really explain why, but myself and siblings very much dislike him for things he did but parents/grandparents forgave him for. My grandmother specifically requested before she passed away that she wanted him to officiate so obviously what she wanted, she wanted; no complaints to give.

Anyway, fastest down and back roadtrip ever. Took about 6 hours with a couple short bathroom stops to get down there, and 5.5 to get back. Not much traffic on i5 with everything going on. Mostly just stupid big rig drivers who'd go in the fast lane to "pass" another big rig, only to match speeds with them for a mile. Hellooooo.

I slipped into my new boots this morning. It's like a familiar, slightly tighter hug for my feet compared to the old worn out boots I replaced them with. What a wonderful feeling.

Oh I’m pretty sure he’s keep an eye on you everyday... but yesterday, more closely lol

I told him “If you ban him or promote him, I’m not gonna question your decision.” Well at least you’re not banned yet lol
