You sir are correct... but tbh I feel like Hori-Gotatsu was more of founder of Kotatsu. Irori was more for cooking & heater vs Hori-Gotatsu was for warming up your feet & legs, which function of Kotatsu is.

I’m happy w how it turned out... but I highly don’t recommend to anyone doing this custom work, unless you know how to work on car body stuff
