Maybe. The weather was not bad. 49 degrees and partly sunny. There were a lot of people at the various lodges, parking lots and restaurants. They must have been taking advantage of the nice weather and Veterans Day weekend. There are a couple semi-famous places that are known for their burgers and other cuisine. There are also several lodges and places with cabins if we wanted to make it a real meet or two day event. The roads are definitely entertaining once you get there.

Hey Guys,
I am starting to look at buying my new wheels and tires for the summer. What are you guys running for summer and how do you like them? I am looking at going a little wider and up to an 18" but havent decided much more than that so far. Thanks and I cant wait for the weather to get better and get back out. |

Here are my Volk CE28N 18x8.5 wrapped in 245/35ZR-18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport XL. The tires are pretty amazing but they are about $250/ea

I was beginning to wonder if everyone went into hibernation or flew south for the winter.
My son took his FR-S and moved to Florida. I thought all the rest of you guys did too.

Hope everyone has been well. I wish I moved with this weather! No just keeping busy with the Holidays and what not. I have my car at home in storage this year. It has been great because of the few nice days on the weekends I have taken it for a drive. My new front lip is scheduled to arrive today!!!! My son talked me into covering it with carbon vinyl. I got some of the new 4D carbon vinyl from 3M yesterday. Much to my surprise it looks real. I'll have to post some pics. I also have my rear lip that came in but that needs some paint. Good luck to your son!

Thanks. I am sure he will suffer from some homesickness. It is the first time he has really been out of the area. He is also suffering from 60-70 degree weather. LOL. If I get my last home sold then I will be joining him in Florida soon although I will be about three hours from where he is working and living. MY Spyder will certainly miss those SE Ohio roads. I will have to drive at least 6 hours up into Georgia to find any decent curves.

Oh, I'm still here, loving having this car as a DD. Warms up quickly, is predictable in heavy crappy weather, though I miss being able to just pull myself up a snowed-in driveway. I'll have to see if I can get a picture of my car today to show you how proud I am of her

Still driving it everyday! Its not so bad in the crappy snow once you get it moving. It really needs a wash today. Covered in salt.

anyone know a cheap place to get a single quarter size dent pulled? have it on the passenger door and not sure what caused it. stopped by a local body shop and was quoted 150-175...seems a little high to me.

Google "Dent Wizard"--most of the guys in the area will do it for less than $100 (there is a size limit). Plus they come to you instead of you having to go somewhere.

When everyone gets cabin fever bad enough that they want to start talking about and planning a spring run then I have some suggestions for a possible route. My brother has found a couple of real gems while exploring in his Spyder and my son, my bother and I really had a good time when we did our excursion in the fall. I would like to be able to enjoy one more great drive with you guys before I relocate to Florida and the boring roads in that state.
