I'm definitely very dependent on physical feedback, because I really struggle. I imagine I'll learn some things, and probably learn some bad habits. It's helped my LFB technique, and probably helped me be slightly better recovering oversteer. But I've been cheap and only played demos so far.

I struggle with that too at times since the only feedback is through the wheel, i'm so used to feeling out traction through the seat as well. I actually have a harder time with LFB since the pedals are so close together on my G920.

Apparently my place of business is considered "essential" and thus I have to still come in to work physically. Supervisor's pissed because we're not getting compensated properly for it. I live in California, is this something that employers are required to do?

Not complaining if that's not the case, because ultimately I'm still able to work.

What do you mean not compensated "properly"? They are not paying you? He thinks you should be paid more for coming to work for some reason? He doesn't realize that about 70% of North America is not getting paid at all right now?

Trying to find out what UPS is doing with packages going to non-essential businesses

Most of my customers are closed, been on hold for 20 minutes, their website and FB page are useless. I don't know why they have their "virtual assistant" as it does little to nothing

So he asked me to have this "detail oriented" employee check some parts for me. One of our manufacturers builds this part with retaining pins that are riveted to a plate. Some of the pins are loose which is bad. She went through and checked them all and said they all had loose pins, 700+ pieces. I grabbed the first part and it was tight, next part was tight, ect.

Ended up rechecking the entire lot and most of them are good

oh boy. i've got about 20 names of 'detail oriented' ex-employee's your boss would love!

Yep. Or corporate IT sent a whole list out. With l the people working at home on unsecured services it has been a nightmare for them.

it wouldn't work. this guy is smart enough to follow orders as directed, but not smart enough to think ahead of himself.

he would make for an excellent first-wave-attack-specialist in the zombie apocalypse.

i keep wondering if i can direct him to walk off a cliff. the first issue is the midwest is quite flat.

Thankfully we have some stuff in place to limit the risk (vague on purpose), but yeah, it has been an interesting week.
