i felt the same way. i had my eye on the ones i have now and another set that was going to be from japan. they were both roughly the same price. but i just took a deep breath and hit the BUY IT button and i never looked back since!

i absolutely love the tail lights.

Without Boost, your options are limited.

What's your goal with the car? numbers, driving disciplines, etc?

I enjoy tracking my car- its way more pleasure than trying to get on a drag strip-my build is not a 1/4 build. I like chasing faster cars, 911s, vettes, m3s etc, lets see what can be caught now with my power level?

let us dial you in Suppermassive, you got alot of car and power, and the way that clutch feels, you will need some practice on the track to get that modulation down on corner exit, but youre big guy strong legs, should be fine

take your car for one lap and dial in your ride heights FIRST, you need to do this before anything else, based on what handles, not what looks cool, if you want to corner right. I been tearing my hair out and think I am almost there with my car.

SECOND Find out your coil rates, I can bring my 430# rear coils if they are softer than what you have, heck you can just have my coils, if they work for you they are yours, k?

THIRD, you need real tires before you waste money at the track, no offense, smoke and noise just mean youre not hooking up. If youre okay wearing out what you got, just wear those out

would love to see you there and help get you dialed in for traction, and I would love to see more 86s there so I'm not the only one at these events in the whole state
I would go but I am already a member of NASA and personally that is my preferred host. Financially it makes no sense for me to pay the newby price with proautosports to go through their classes. It is tempting but I just can't justify it. I would want to get out there and just start driving rather than going through all the courses again.

+1. Been with NASA going on 3 years now. Have my TT License with them and will be doing Comp School for my Race License in October. I'm sure with Pro Auto I'd have to start at the bottom as well.

This will be my first event but when making my account there is a huge space that asks for your experience and they say to be very descriptive. I'm sure you have to take the class on how they run things the first time but I bet they would allow you to show that you know what your doing and not make you go threw all of the stages again.

I'm still going to be doing this mod. But needed to do more research on it first. After looking at them last week should not be that difficult. There is a good video from the genesis coupe forum on how they do theirs which is similar to ours. Cutting, plastic welding and sealing.

As a side note its hilarious to see why our tail lights leak. The housing is nowhere sealed on the back. In fact you can see inside them and see the pcb. Its completely open to the environment. Its literally up to the ridiculous foam seal pressed up against the car to form the seal which then only leaves the opening accessible inside the trunk to change the bulb.
