I think you're reading into this wrong.

At least on my side, I'm not demanding extra or unnecessary hours from these places to fit my schedule.

I'm just saying that being a small family owned business already can be difficult, and as someone who wants to support these places more often, their schedule sometimes doesn't permit my ability to to support them.

There's nothing wrong with that being disappointing.

In fact, I'd rather be disappointed that they aren't always open when I'm available because at least that means I can still support them when they are open, than be disappointed because they've had to close due to not getting enough business.

I was watching YouTube shorts of this guy asking simple question to ppl at the street and majority of em couldn't answered em. Lady who couldn't read analog clock. Yeah, I get that modern day time is digital and most are written in numbers... but "Where's Great Wall of China?" and answering "Japanese"?!?!?!?! "When was America founded as a country?" and answering "1800BC"...

I had to stop watching it, cuz I was losing more hope in humanity.
