i need to get back into rc... my emaxx is lonely. but it's less fun without rocket motors...

4 lane AFX plastic track. There are power tracks about every 3 feet (soldered from underneath). A giant power supply and HP tower control the track power and timing. It has 2 flat screen leader boards. It uses 3 wire controllers with brakes. It is really fun.

Unfortunately all the tracks have closed. I have a bunch, never got to race 'em, except my first one back in '90 in a friend's back yard. I probably should do something with them though. Keep trying to figure out how to get a club going... Then I remember I'm over-volunteered already.

blade 450?

i've got a blade 400.

are you sure it's not an issue with your feathering shaft? talking to the local hobby shop, they recommended using an upgraded feathering shaft over the eflite variation.

i don't recall the issues i was having, but i had some issues right away with the eflite version bending and flexing at very amateur ground effect maneuvers. on the local hobby shops recommendation, i went with a stiffened aftermarket variation. i remember it helped a lot, though it still gets tweaked in surprise ground attacks.

last time i had a vibration like that, i replaced everything related to the head block. i think i worked some tolerances loose in the flybar/washout assembly over time.

of course, i haven't flown(wrecked) it in probably 3-4 years now. don't have time for hobbies like that anymore!

It's mostly BEAM E4. I was building up a custom FPV platform when I got the frs. Haven't touched it since.

Actually they would be even more ironic now.

Going to have to pick up a couple of the new Mega G+ chassis to check out. Sealed can motor means no engine modding.
