Why dont you guys come here instead

http://arizonamotorsportspark.com/

http://www.proautosports.com/forms/pdf/Schedule.pdf
I'll be there the only 86 again :-(
$200 for the new comers is a little steep for most of us.

I was thinking about it but not sure If I want to spend that kind of money on a one day event.

Yeah that car has been in there for months I think the owner doesn't like it as much as his other super cars because according to the employees it is cheaper than what he drives daily.

Sounds appealing..
How loud are our cars? Is the 94db limit an issue if I have, say, an aftermarket catback ??

so prosports is the licensing entity
they operate the bondurant, firebird and amp tracks on a rotating schedule
my prosport license lets me run amp without needing orientation, it also lets me run any track prosport rents, and the signup orientation is one time subsequent track days run from $60 to $140 for all day use

you meet alot of non frs types and the scene is the real deal
if you dont want to pay, just come, parking is free and you can borrow a helmet and ride with me free

its steep the 1st day only

I will most likely be doing saturday as well as Gmooker. That is the only day that they have the new comers class. I will be driving in the event pending on the information I find out tomorrow when I call them to get all the details.

Anyone feel like having a cars and coffee meet tomorrow evening or Friday evening. We could pick a place and hang for a bit. Just a thought.

So I would do the drag race thing but I really don't want to run it at IFO, for one thing I'm still running a crappy suspension setting due to me being a lazy ass and not feeling like tearing apart my car to swap springs around. Also I haven't drag raced a car on a track in almost 10 years so I would need quite a bit of practice to even get my launch right even if I had the suspension dialed...as my car is now all I would do is spin...and these tires dont smoke or really even make any noise, so it wouldn't even be a good show I wouldn't mind going for a drive on any of the roads worth driving out there though!

If you come to Tucson, allow yourself enough time to take a drive on Catalina Highway. It goes up to the little village of Summerhaven on top of Mt. Lemmon. If you don't know, it starts in the N.E. corner of Tucson and is truly one of the best driving roads in Arizona. The drive is 27 miles. If you follow the posted speed limit it will take you an hour each way. If you don't, that's a different matter. I made it down one time in 27 minutes on my motorcycle.
