Dropped the Thorn bounty last night. I got up to 90 and then just got wrecked several games in a row and was in the 40s again.. With a target of 500, and matchmaking sticking it up my ass like that.. not gonna happen.

But the real reason I dropped it too is because I got a third exotic bounty. This one for Invective.

I got the limited edition, so it came with the dlc codes. None of the content is available yet though.

Ah, well I know you're on the PS4 so guess that explains it. I know I'll buy the expansion packs once they become available, I've invested this much time might as well keep going along and see where the game leads. Since picking up more legendary gear my interest level has picked back up. I kind of hit a wall between levels 20-25.

Yeah, I'll probably end up dropping it too. I've done enough grinding in this game, I'm not sure I can handle trying to grind out 500 points in the Crucible using Void damage, especially since everytime you get whacked they subtract 2 points. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't penalize you for dying, but with that added tacked on you pretty much have to be a PvP whiz in order to get the Bounty.

I'm available to assist with the Weekly Heroic Strike if anyone needs help. It took some time, but it was possible. I'll try soloing Nightfall tonight and see how feasible it is considering the one-shot melee modifier and only additional damage for void attacks.

PvE got exponentially easier once I got the Icebreaker. Best weapon I've purchased to date.

Apparently what I said about the Bad Juju PVP part is different.. You get a set number of points for killing a Titan or Hunter. You get extra points for killing a Warlock. At least that's what I've been told.

Sometimes I use it just to regenerate ammo for another special weapon.

I did the heroic with a buddy last night, we took our time but it was totally doable.

We also tried the Nightfall and had to give up. The Captains with blue shields and yellow health at the part where dinklebot is disarming the lasers were basically impossible to kill. 2 Void rockets couldn't take one down. Emptied a whole clip of my Icebreaker and didn't even remove the shields

Hmm interesting. My buddy and brother were able to finish Nightfall after I had logged off for bed. Are your guns fully upgraded to have 300 damage or close to it?

I saw that for the first time on the Destiny APP yesterday. Still gives me a chuckle. I bet he's regretting doing the voice acting for this role now.

They're close, they're all legendary. My buddy is only 27 so it was essentially all me. I think the main problem was that I don't have a Void sniper. But even my Arc Final Boss could barely take down their shields and then they just ran for cover.

It occurred to me after I could have probably tried my Void fusion but after we wiped we just gave up and did the heroic instead. Was like a walk in the park compared to the nightfall.

I have not used a scout rifle in Pvp and I do not own a Vex, BUT I have no idea why people are crying about ARs.

Yes, my suros does less damage from percision shots.
Is it noticible? No. it takes maybe 1 extra shot, or .05 seconds. And with the lag in destiny...

People that were upset with ARs had very good reason to be. They were outperforming every other primary in terms of DPS at any range. Now that they "nerfed" ARs the bad players are really bad. All the people defending ARs before the nerf, ARs aren't overpowered! You just suck! Learn to play!. Are now screaming "You broke the game!"

Where are all their "Skills" now? They are upset because they realize that they were not as good as they thought they were and want to blame someone else.

Which is why I chose to NOT use ARs in the crucible and use a Scout Rifle or handcannon (not a pulse rifle, I'm not daffy)

Sure it ruined my KD ratio. Guess what, KD ratio does not matter in Destiny.

^^^ I completely agree. My Suros was working fine last night in both Weekly Heroic and Nightfall. The 2% was barely noticeable, if any. In regards to PVP, I just run around with my Invective. I suck at it, but who cares lol.

You know what, come to think of it, I did have a hard time with the majors in the dinklebot alarm part. It was pretty annoying when I'd break their shield and they just teleport away. Perhaps I shouldn't try soloing it.
