Hello everyone!
I'm a former member of the MR2 owners club, everythingcelica.com, bimmerforums, and a current member of toyotanation.com As you can see I'm quite familiar with toyotas, I actually used each of those toyota forums for a different car which I slowly became pretty well versed with. I'm looking to buy the 216A as soon as I possibly can. Hoping to meet some good people along the way on this forum like I have on near every other forum (except bimmerforums of course )

Hello all,
I've been keeping up to date on the FT-86 since its announcement but haven't bothered to post until now. I can't wait for it to come out, I'll finally have a reason to retire my Protege and move back to a FR beast. Much love for the Mk II although the Mk III was nice, I kind of wish there'd be a little bit more of a blend of the two. -DN. |

Hey everyone!
I've been lurking for a while, but I thought I'd sign up and join in on the discussions. I'm a current Mini owner, and I love small, light cars. I'm a huge MX-5 fan, and I really didn't have the FT-86 on my radar until I learned that it was going to be much smaller and lighter than I thought. The world has enough Genesis / G37 sized cars, and I'm glad Subaru/Toyota decided to put this project together. Can't wait to see how it turns out! |

Hello!
My name's Matt, I live in Toronto! I'm also a member of TorontoMazda3 and iWSTi. I currently drive a 2010 Mazda 3 and is super interested into purchasing an STi (08+) in a year or two. However, with the new 2012 Impreza, I have low expectations as for what the new 2012 STi will look like. (I personally think the new 5 door is hideous!). The FR-S/FT-86/216a caught my eye while browsing the internet and I am slowly gaining more attention to this car. Can't wait to see it when it's available for us consumers! Cheers! |

Hi All!
Saw some leaked spy shots then search the internet like a mad man about every detail about the car. Now I'm in love and I can't wait! Why did I get interested so early yet the estimated release is so far! Currently driving a 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser TT so the FT-86 would be a perfect offset to my truck. Awesome forum. Great info and pics.

Hi, I'm Lloyd, from Australia.
I recently found this forum when searching for information about the FT-86, I've been looking forward to it's release since first hearing about a possible rear drive sports car produced jointly by Subaru and Toyota ![]() I was searching to buy a 350Z a bit over a year ago but bought a house instead, hopefully I'll be ready to buy a car again by 2012 when Australia gets the new toyota FT-86, it will be interesting to see how it stacks up against other rear drive sports cars! I currently own an 01 Holden ute (LS1 powered) and a Nissan 180sx that I drift in my local series, my fiancé owns 2 ST205 GT-FOUR Celica's I have always been a fan of 6th generation Celica's (except the fact they are fwd!) and think the FT-86 has a lot of styling in common with it around the quarters and hatch area (assuming it'll be a hatch not a coupe...)
