I'm being told my car will be here Thursday. My dates also updated to 3/15 - 3/17, after being blank and on the QC hold for 4 weeks or so. Crossing fingers

Dude, you have unrivaled patience. It probably helps that you have your garage to focus on. I couldn’t have handled that, I would have caved and went elsewhere or got something different.

I have looked elsewhere, and also had other dealers call me to tell me they have cars available on the lot. But, they're either auto's and/or base models.

Yes, lot's of other stuff going on to keep me busy, haha. Garage will be ready soon, almost just in time for the new GR86

Seems no blip in allocations this week like I was sort of expecting. Agony.

Basically if we haven’t heard from the dealer we have our names on, pretty much no go for a April car?

Shocker, my dates changed to 3/19 - 3/21 today...I was 10 minutes from the dealer, for my 8am pickup appointment, when I was told the car didn't arrive per schedule. So annoying

So my salesman, who I've been in contact since October, has stopped responding to my emails. Not sure if he's still employed there or not...but if he still works there why would he stop? I limited myself to emailing him to once a month. So I'm sure I was being annoying but not by an enthusiast stand point lol. Infuriating to say the least because he sounded genuine and helped.

Called 3 dealers near me and 2 called me back. 1 of which called me incessantly, which said they are taking $2500 none refundable deposits. I laughed, hung up.

The 2nd dealer so far has been straight forward but still too early to tell. Might be going there tomorrow to meet him in person. He already said no one is on a list/online and no ADM. I hope I have some luck tomorrow. This is the 3rd time I am getting burned ordering a car since 2020 (2 camaros V6 1le's). It's been well over 2 years.

Just ask for the sales manager. Honestly with the new car shortage how busy could they really be? It’s their job anyway…

Dude I cannot believe this has dragged on for you as long as it has. I feel for you, I would be going ape-$@& at this very moment.
