Hello ft86 club, I have finally decided to join a forum as I've had this Beautiful FR-S in my driveway for about 9 months now. I have not had a valid DL in a little over 2 years and the time is getting close to get behind on the wheel of this awesome car.
I do wish it wasn't a/t although the more I read up on the a/t the more I feel I won't mind so much, and will still be just as fun... I do also kinda wish it was a BRZ as the interior trim seems nicer as well as the push start bonus. Oh well, I'm sure it will still be a great driver car. This is my first RWD as well as my first non Honda platform . It was definitely a toss up between this and the S2000 as I'm sure was a lot of our top picks. My 3 month plan is A Megan Racing suspension setup or a set of D2's As well as a set of 18x9 or 18x9.5 Enki rfp1's My 3-5 year plan is to have a 2jz setup. I think I really want to do this, although I think if the car was m/t I would probably just continue with the fa20. Never the less, plenty of miles to drive before I make any decisions . ![]()

Hi everyone! On February 10, 2016, I joined the BRZ club when I bought my b-e-autiful 2013 BRZ!
I am going to be keeping it mostly stock, I will be upgrading the sound system in the next few weeks, and maybe in a few years, I will add a turbo and upgrade the wheels and tires. Look forward to being a part of this awesome community! I'm from Charlotte, currently a Engineering student / intern with Siemens. |

Hello All! I just bought a 2016 Halo FRS about 3 days ago. Brought her home and immediately put on Toyota badges and clear corners. Been looking for reasons to drive her around. I love this car. Just gotta fix the usb not reading problem.

Hi all,
Just got my new 2016 FR-S on the same day they announced Scion was going the way of the dodo bird (doh!!!). Already added the mud guards using the excellent DIY guide on this site. Anyway, great place with lots of knowledgeable folks. jg7 |

Hi Everyone! Just picked up an FR-S last Wednesday, and I absolutely love it! I'm looking for reasons to drive the car.
I've owned an NA Miata, NB2 Miata, e30, e36, and Audi A4, searching for a 'pure' driving experience. I gotta say, the FR-S beats them all. Autox and Track days are coming! ![]()

Hi Everyone!
I'm from Europe, finally just bought my gt86! It's stock yet, but looking forward to gain some power, and sound! My car is an everyday car, but i will be tracking as well! I had my very first track day a few days ago, where i was only drifting! Check out my drifting videos: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JV_OaGr9Fpc"]Shredding tyres with stock GT86 - drift lap 1.st etup - YouTube[/ame] [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OiM6oeok1Ag"]Shredding tyres with stock gt 86, 2. etup and only drift! - YouTube[/ame] Best regards: Toto

Hello
Hello everyone. I currently reside in Columbus, OH, (about to move to College Station, TX), and own a 89 Toyota Supra Turbo, an 03 Vibe GT, 2010 RAV4 V6 4x4, and a 2015 Ford Escape SE 2L Ecoboost AWD that was purchased by my gf's work for her. (We both prefer the RAV. It's also faster. smile.png)
I have plans on a FRS within the next year. I don't generally take many pics, but I'll get some up of the rides when I have a bit more time if anyone's interested.

Hey all!
Just leased a '16 Halo White FR-S in Santa Barbara, CA! Coming from a '14 Focus ST (which I finally was awarded lemon law for), I won't bother preaching to the choir about how an underpowered sports car > an overpowered grocery getter any day. The passion is BACK! Not since my highschool days in my (obnoxiously loud and dropped) Del Sol have I felt this passionate about my daily driver. This is what a car should be (well, minus the anemic stock engine power) Couple of questions off the bat: The engine ticks at idle. Sounds like a belt/cog is tapping something. Not horribly loud but noticeable, especially for less than 100mi so far. Anyone else? It's a lease but I def. want to mod. A local friend is parting out his BURZ and offering me first dibs! I'm considering his barely used Berk front pipe and Perrin cat back. Not sure if the header and subsequent tune are worth it for a lease. Thoughts? Anything else that's easily bolt-on/bolt-off you would put on the must have list? Dealership claims the spoiler would be > $1k painted & installed. JESUS. Anyone selling a halo white spoiler? ![]() Short ram intake. Worth it? Easy enough to return to stock? Anything you wish someone would have told you at the beginning? Jaxn |
