Imagine your view when you use that method with wide view mirrors. Lol

My sides are 30%, but 70% is the limit. That's basically clear. Front windshield is 40%, but didn't get a ticket for that since I don't think they can readily measure that. It's gonna come off when I get the windshield replaced anyways.

Got away with it for 18 months and our state is VERY strict about tint, so I can't complain. I might try to see how long I get away with 40% on the sides, but I'm not sure yet. Would love to do 5% in the rear windows.

I am going to pick up a set of these because I primarily drive at night and less glare would be sweet and because of motorcyclists that accidentally hide in the blind spot.
That reminds me, I need something to reduce glare also since I get highly annoyed when people put HIDs in the wrong headlights. There was an xB that made me squint through my tinted windows and literally made my eyes ache when I saw through my side mirrors.

I figured they were there to serve as projectiles when the airbags deploy.

Mine didn't give me any trouble. You have to pull pretty hard. I got my fingers behind both sides and pulled at the same time so it would come straight out and not at an angle. I actually had a harding time popping the new ones in and getting all the little clips to click into place.

Got pulled over for speeding, but only got a fix-it ticket for the side window tints.

Are those the stock mirrors ? That cruiser would have looked much nicer with a blue tint

Shut the FRONT DOOR! I tried, okay?! I was just concerned with braking something. Which is weird, because I had to remove them to put on the side mirror LED turn signals... I assume it's because it's still winter outside. I think if I left the car to warm up in the warehouse it would be more agreeable. Meh. I'll get to it.

Yeah I think our Canadian ones detach differently. I'm old school though, got the first GEN Rexpeed mirrors with 3M backing. It was a 5 min job!

ROADVENTURE: SB -> LA [PIC HEAVY]

Took a detour drive from SB to LA as suggested by @Ganthrithor. Well worth the extra hour. Scenic views, switchbacks, and even spotted 2015 WRXes and WRX STIs from Canada. How's that for a trip, eh?

Lake Casitas, Ojai, CA

In Ojai, I came across a lot full of 2015 WRXes and WRX STIs that just came back from journalist test drive sessions. Got an OK from the delivery guy to start taking photos. These are on their way back to Canada! Can you spot the 2014 WRX?

2015 WRX STI

Seeing as how the GBS BRZ is the unicorn of the BRZ color scheme.. how about the GBS 2015 WRX?!
