Hey guys!

I just picked up a 2013 Certified Used Asphalt FRS with 18k on the clock 2 weeks ago.
Here are some boring stockish pics!

I've already installed Toyota badges, iJDMtoy led drls, and 6k HID's.

I've ordered the following and it will all be here this week:

-Perrin 2.5 CBE unresonated
-Tein Z-Flex coilovers
-Perrin 25mm hubcentric wheel spacers / adapters
-Weathertech Floor liners
-OEM Mudguards.

Can't wait to start modding it!

I came from a 2013 Civic Si (lightly modded) but have always wanted an 86. So I took the plunge.

Very nice. I had a red and black 91 Talon TSI AWD. It just simply died of old age. Didn't look that great though!

I had a DSM as well. Man was boost fun in that car with a t3/t4. I do not miss all the days spent fixing things though....

Been lurking here for long time

I've actually been lurking at the forums for quite a while now have been following the threads, thoughts on the twins and also monitoring the used market on these while I'm saving up at this time.

Current daily driver is an 1 Gen 05 Acura TSX (CL9) Carbon Grey Pearl but I'm no stranger to the Toyota scene as I've owned in past the following:

93 Celica GTS, 88 Supra Turbo, 96 SC300.

Hoping to learn a lot more about the twins and hopefully will pick one up to complement the TSX.

Other than the small matter of the timing belt slipping and embedding almost every moving part into the head (my fault for not changing it 100k after it was due). In every had a single issue with mine. In fact the basic (repaired) engine was still going strong last I heard since the guy that bought it stripped it down to a drag car.

I threw the timing belt on my 1.8L 3 times. The third time wasn't the belt's fault. I quit reinstalling the cover so when the accessory belt let go, it took the timing belt along for the ride.

I don't miss that engine mount, though. *shudder*

I think that many of my problems were due to me driving like a maniac (I was a college kid) and not knowing a whole lot about proper tuning.
