On a red light last night when 2 teenage guys were pointing and looking, fsiled to see the street lamp in frint of them.............felt bad but not that much

After 4 months of ownership, I still get every other day:

- "Nice car!"
- Thumbs up
- Head turns

Already got "nice car" this morning at the ATM.

And when in presence with another FR-S/BRZ, we just nod at each other both with a big smile on our faces.

And I'm not fond of "poor man's porsche", just tell them it's "the new AE86" and let them pretend they know what an AE86 is... Haha.

The people around here must not think this car is anything special. I never catch anyone staring, pointing or exclaiming. And I've had a couple of people talk to me at the gas station about it. I was hoping more people would talk to me about it, though it doesn't really matter since I still love the car.

I just love it when others love it too. I did catch a group of guys walking around it in the parking lot of a restaurant I ate at a few weeks ago though.

Had a man ask me for permission to look at the car a few minutes ago. I was at the gas station about to fill up the tank.

I of course told him to have at it.

He walked around the car looking at it from every angle and commenting on how much he liked the look and that he has not seen anything like it before. He asked what it was and I told him it is a Toybaru. Built to be the new AE86.

Always enjoy watching people admire this car

I've had several reactions with my FR-S. Just about everytime I've stopped to feel up the tank someone has complemented me or asked me about the car. There was one instance where a girl in front of me on the bypass leaned out her car window just to take a pic. Stopped in a parking lot to let her look at the car and ended up with her number.

I parked at a Fred Meyer (local grocery chain) and when I got out of my car, this dude in the car next to mine (a dirty/dented Mazda 3) said, "Duuude, what is that?" And I told him that it was a Scion FR-S. He took a drag of his cigarette and said "That's legit!"

went to the grocery pretty late, i was just about the only car there except for 2 guys smoking next to theirs. as i walked in they asked if they could look at it, of course i said go ahead.

i come back after shopping and they were still walking around it discussing things and had a mental list of things they wanted to ask me about haha

It's hard to get a ton of attention where i usually hang out as there's always super cars like lambos and maseratis rolling around (and I don't know how these people afford it, we're not in Beverly hills or anything >.>

but i do get quite a few looks here and there especially when going to the Toyota dealership. I had a guy do a full walk around, then he stood there and gawked even though i was getting in my car and trying to leave... it was kinda awkward since he was in the way.
