Very long story so I won't bore with the details.. But tomorrow I'm finally doing an informational phone call with a hiring manager from one team, and then doing an in-person informational meeting with a HM from a different team in a different location (in SF).

After these I'll be allowed to make a choice, and then my recruiter will confirm interest from the HM of the team I choose, and if that's all good then I'll finally get the official offer and can then put in notice here.

In the end it'll have taken 2 months. RIP me.

My current job took about 2 months to line up. I had 2 problems in that period. The first was that the company I was leaving was going to spend a ton of money "training" me for a job I didn't want to do, but didn't have many other options at the time. And the second was that training including spending 10-12 hours a day "working" on a dock in Miami-ish in July...

Saw so many Levorg STI in Japan last year, even a couple outfitted as taxis. Not a bad looking car at all.

Thanks! This process was full of weird issues. They keep telling me it hasn't been typical at all but it's still been super frustrating.

That doesn't sound pleasant at all.

notice that the standing rack only really holds 3. i've got some similar racks for storage in my basement. they're big and take up a lot of space.
