Any of you guys use a steering spacer? Do you recommend it?

https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...teering+spacer

Anybody used it on a 2017+ BRZ? Is it easy to install, or should I make it installed on the dealer service?

(Edit: that thread got more than one page I'm reading it now.. But any knowledge-experience is appreciated.)

That's not right. They're JIS screw heads and the reason so many Japanese bikes get thrown to the curb here in the states.
We've been using the wrong tool and blaming the screws for our failure.

If you work on nearly any Japanese bike, RC car or computer, they're JIS screws.
Get the right tool for the job and you're golden.

Even using JIS bits they would strip when they have been there for 20+ years. I replaced them with cap screws. Phillips is within the tolerance for JIS anyway.

The radio, or websites of radio stations. I suppose I would be better served by YouTube or Prime music nowadays though.

I switched to spotify about a year ago and don't have any complaints.

I was using google music (free) for the longest time, until google changed a lot of their voice command stuff and made life difficult if you didn't have a paid subscription and wanted to play music from your own downloaded library. Made it almost impossible to be completely handsfree with android auto on my aftermarket headunit... which was entirely the point of making the upgrade.

Edit: Worth noting that if you use the spotify web player with an adblock extension, you get the "premium" experience of no ads but it's entirely free. Subscription only needed if you want no ads on the mobile app, as well as not being restricted to shuffle only play.

Spotify is a must if you're looking to use a paid streaming app. Tried Prime and it does not have the selection anywhere near what I would like. Apple Music is good but the interface is clunky. Spotify is hands down the best music streaming app you can get. Biggest selection of songs and the best user interface.

Tidal (I get "free" because of my Sprint Unlimited plan) is pretty good. My only gripe is my saved online music requires an online signin, lol. It's not often, but if the app updates or I reboot my phone and don't signin prior to go going into airplane mode I can't listen my "offline" music. Other than that, it's great. Luckily I bought of bunch Leo Moracchioli's awesome metal covers on Google (just to support the guy) because he is the best. I can always play those offline even if I don't double check that I'm signed in before takeoff.

Thats what I love about spotify, one click and it downloads everything, no worry about it undownloading. The algorithms they use to recommend music are insanely good.

Spotify is the only app I’ve used, but got rid of it a couple years ago because of the annoying ads. That was back in high school when I was broke haha but I liked how easy it was to use. How much is premium a month?

$9.99 per month unless you qualify for the student discount of $4.99. Frankly, I don't think its worth the cost, but I don't listen to a lot of music and when I do I probably already own it.

They always recommended music way off from what I listen too. Maybe it was telling me something

I cringe every time I see that little dot on the screw head. Need to get a set of JIS tools.
