So which teams are signed up to use Honda engines next year? Everyone but the current Mercedes engine users? lol

Weren't Honda engines historically underpowered in F1?

McLaren will be the only Honda team thus far.

Historically, their engines where heavy, but not under-powered. They were some of the top power producers during the first turbo era, and towards the end of the V10 era. Honda always had a Suzuka special.

Coincidence Mclaren going back with Honda engines? Just like the old days.

Isn't Mclaren currently using the Mercedes engine? Same engine as Team Petronas? Some sort of agreement made a while ago with Honda?

Yes to all accounts. Lol. McLaren has been partnered with Mercedes since 1995(?) when Martin Brudle & Mika Hakkonen joined.

This pairing was announced last season.

I wouldn't be surprised if the the 2014 McLaren chassis was designed with the 2015 Honda engine in mind but made the Merc engine "work" for this year. I wouldn't be surprised if McLaren has allocated a larger percent of resources than normal toward the 2015 car/engine combo already.

Hah no way, Juan Pablo was in 253 NASCAR races and had 2 wins, compared to his 7 wins in his 95 F1 starts, nobody is going to look at Maldocrasho as a NASCAR contender.

The only positive I can think of is that for him, the pit crew can hammer the car back into shape after he dings it up, that still doesn't make up being a lap down and ruining you're aero.

The Schumacher family said weeks ago to ignore any reports other than those officially issued by them.

It sounds doubtful. Waking from a four month coma is one thing, immediately talking is another.

As much as we all wish Michael the best outcome, I'll wait for a family member to comment.

During today's Spanish GP P2, Leigh Diffey mentioned the official F1 app. I just installed it so can't comment yet, but it's free and might add to the entertainment. They said it's also on iTunes. Here's the Android link:

It was good to see Ferrari practice well and Kimi finally being close behind Fernando, although Alonso was a bit snarky post P2 with his claim that he's usually faster than any of his teamates (!). I hope Kimi heard about that, it might be the type of inspiration he needs.

Vettel must be having fits. His car broke down after four laps in P1 and was still being repaired during all of P2.

Mercedes, particularly Lewis, appeared dominant.

So we may see what we've been waiting for X3, teammate rivalries in the Ferrari, Mercedes and Red Bull garages. Should be a good race with speeds increasing to within 2-3 sec./lap of last year, they said.
