i understand that its a lot of money, but just think, do you want to cheap out on possibly the most important purchase you'll make?

if you don't want to spend the money, and don't need all the performance of a top of the line coil over, then you should go buy the ST coil over.

ST is made by KW but its specifically made as a great entry level choice.

avoid megan, Bc, tein, Fortune, stance, etc etc like the black plague.

you can also just do springs…but honestly after installation and etc its almost at the same price as the ST coils.

and for daily, its not an important upgrade if your'e just using this car to get from A-B, suspension upgrades are usually done because you like to drive, because you like to push the car. my KW ride so much better than stock. i can set it to be so soft and plush, and then with the turn of a few knobs i can dial it in to be perfect for spirited driving or track.

And it's all stuff you can adjust day to day and not take it back to the shop to realign or anything right? Assuming camber and things aren't messed with

The kwv3 ride softer than the stock ones and they work better too? You have my attention. Haha

yes, compression and rebound you adjust yourself, leave the height and etc alone.

yes, they can ride much nicer than stock, even with mine set to stiffer, its very pleasant and composed while handling like on rails.

Just found kwv3s for 2049 shipped. Should I jump on that? From what I've been seeing the best around is around 2300 or something.

Do I need upgraded control arms?

I'd keep shopping around. There are better prices than that if you keep asking around.

You don't need any other suspension mods unless you're planning on running a lot of camber.

You mean avoid anything that isn't KW V3s? Your paycheck from the KW marketing team should be coming in the mail any day now

That said, I'm installing my V3s on monday.

I've never done this before so it's a big learning experience for me. Doesn't lowering the car automatically cause negative wheel camber because it changes the angle? How would I go about adjusting that? I doubt it will be the way I want it right after I install the coils.

Could you share where you got yours?

plenty of other good options. St, RCE, Eibach, Bilstein, etc etc.

yes, lowering the car will cause the wheels to camber. the front is adjustable through the bolt, however the rear isn't. from dropping it if will naturally camber to around -1.5-2.3 depending on how much of a drop it is.

Congrats on first place. You deserve it. Wish we could have had more meaty tire cars in the list.

I wouldn't want to have more camber than that. What parts to I need to get to adjust the camber back towards positive a little bit?im thinking like -.8 camber unless there's rubbing would be nicer on my tires.

-.8 is nothing.

you either need camber arms, or the whit line upper control arm bushing kit.

I was very fortunate to be nominated for this contest, and then winning Twin of the year!

I can't say how happy and thankful I am for the support, not a bad start to the new year!

thanks to everyone who chimes in, asks questions, and reads my posts.
