Stalling is another issue. If you are experiencing any stalling, then I would consider that a problem.

I thought the same. I'd never notice that dip if it wasn't pointed out. Maybe it feels worse in the car, though.

Mine has not stalled yet. Sometimes it's a little worse and shakes a bit more. As of right now, it's just annoying. It hasn't affected anything that I can tell. Well, other than me installing my Perrin Pulley.

I never paid attention to the idle until recently when I noticed the condensation in my tail lights. But now after paying attention to it, it happens quite frequently with or w/o the A/C on. It stumbles more w/o A/C though.

It's definitely worse when you are in the car. You can't feel the car shake through the video.

@ruskymx: If "shaking" means that it is about to stall, then I'd say that's a problem.

But I'd should stay out of it. I don't have one of these cars yet, and, whatever the problem is, it is too difficult to "diagnose" over the internet.

No more stalls since last friday, but nothing has been fixed so it could happen again. Can only wait and see for now.

My car was taken to the dealership yesterday. My car does this more regular as I put more miles on it... even almost stalled out on me today. Dealership is contacting people and prob going to be taking my car for a bit of testing. They also took down notes with the crickets and syncro clunking. Take your cars in guys. Talking over the forum isn't going to fix anything. The sooner you bring it to toyota/subaru's attention the sooner it's solved. -I went to Gresham toyota/scion.

P.S Tech said this is very abnormal.

-Edit note.
I have friends with FRS's and BRZ's locally. Only half of them seem to have this issue. Talked to 4 dealerships in the area and no one has reported these problems. It's either a factory issue of quality or people need to contact their dealerships. The tech said the sooner people come forward the sooner we get ECU reflashes, parts replaced, or upgrades. DONT BE SHY! This is a first gen production car there will be issues. Warranty is there for a reason. So USE it. Also subaru tech's even told me a standard boxer should only dip once in the RPM range then catch it's timing ect. Not fluctuate.

Yes, please report that to the dealer. And let us know.

Mine has nearly stalled twice now.. first time with AC on, second time with AC off.

Car idles normally but misfires fairly frequently when at traffic lights, that didnt really concern me too much until the rpm dropped to almost zero, the car shook and almost stalled, then the rpms jumped back up to normal..

Will be taking it in for first service and reporting the problem.

Yes, it actually stalled. It also would not start up again without running very rough and then stalling again. This was 2 weeks ago and it's been fine since then. I did have the dealer check it out and they sent a report to Toyota. Toyota knows about the issue too, they just aren't saying much even to the dealers.

My GT 86 does it as well, my Mini Cooper does the same thing too, don't think it is anything to worry about

Exact same code and symptoms I had last night with only 400 miles on it. Have you gotten any updates?

As of now, it is still at the dealership waiting on a replacement sensor from Japan. They are going to replace it and see if it was just the part, or if something else was the cause

Take it in right away. The more Toyota knows about the issue the faster it can be figured out. The only shitty part is not having my car!!
