If none of that matters to you, just get the cheaper car.. Usually, the look of the front bumper & guages is enough for most people to make up their mind on choosing between the twins. Have a seat in both and you'll probably immediately know which one you prefer.
haha yeah. I think when the time is right, I'll just pick up w/e is available with my color. I've sat in brz premium/limited and fr-s at ajc auto show and drove fr-s. I probably wouldn't even know the difference in feel unless I was driving nude.

And now that I think about it, auto temperature things always kinda sucked. I don't really care about temperature of the car, I just want cold air blasting in my face, or hot air.

So yeah, fr-s or brz premium, which means probably fr-s because when I saved enough money, i wouldn't have the patience to wait for a brz :P

Now to get a 2013 when 2014's are out for a few grand cheaper or get 2014 which I assume should address all the remaining little issues with current models.

I agree with you on this too. I've had cars with dual (or even multi) zone control and have never liked it. I always just turn it up all the way and turn it down when I'm where I want to be.

Our Suburban is the worst. It has driver/passenger side controls as well as rear climate control with all kinds of settings. It's easier to launch a spaceship than it is to get that thing set just right. But, at least there is enough air volume for it to kinda make sense. I think the controls take up about 10 pages in the manual.

In the FR-S where, even with my relatively short arm length, I can adjust any vent in the car, I'm just not sure it matters, particularly for the cost.

Started reading it and thought maybe it was me, but definitely no confusing me with a lady.

I finally passed a fellow owner on the road the other day in Powder Springs on Lost Mountain Road. It caught me so off-guard I didn't even recognize it until it was passing me.

If you are on here and you waved, I wasn't ignoring you. I just had that FR-S Driver Caught in the Headlights stare thing going.

out of curiosity, if I want to swap out the scion badges for toyota, any bodyshops in metro atlanta y'all would recommend that can do that? Currently residing in an apartment without the tools or space to do it myself

also just in case, that wouldn't affect toyota warranties right?

Yea, that auto-climate stuff is totally overrated.. Never liked it in any car I've ever driven either.. It's annoying enough for me to buy a different model/trim just because a car has it. And now that I think about it, auto-climate is a little unecessary for a supposed "back-to-basics" affordable sports coupe.

Still prefer the factory warrantied HID & LED lights over any bumper "looks".. all day any day!

$1.5K more isn't too much to pay for that IMO.. not after you've just spent ~$25K on a new car.
