I'm myself more and more into low brightness processing.
I like that a lot.

Was feeling a bit ill (sugar level?) But here's 3 photos I took today. Took 175, liked 40, only 20 or so where good.

20 good out of 175 is a nice result.
The funny thing is that, in 2 years, when reviewing old pics, you'll find that very few are good. (something like 0% or 1% maybe) That's the case for my picture anyway :p |

As I've mentioned earlier if I can't fit a camera in my pocket it has little appeal for me. Most of my photos are taken when traveling so I want something on the smaller/discreet size. Over the past few months I have considered Micro 4/3 cameras and a couple of Fujifilm-X cameras and while I love the specs on some of these cams I keep on reminding myself they wouldn't see much use.
Lo and behold the best compromise (damn you compromises *shakes fist*) for me seems to have been announced: http://www.43rumors.com/ft5-panasoni...ctures-leaked/ 1" sensor and sufficient reach starting at acceptable wide. The slow speed of the lens doesn't concern me as most poor light shots I take are of stationary subjects. The other 1" compacts are lacking the range for me: Sony RX100 series (28-100mm or 24-70mm equiv) Canon G5X (24-100mm equiv, too bulky). Panny's FZ1000 is a freaking monster of a camera. I think my HZ90 will get retired. Once the novelty of the incredible zoom wears off the the image quality isn't as good as my 5 year old old Panny TZ10. Just as an aside it's not just about the picture; I also enjoy taking the picture. I like fiddling around with settings to get the picture I want. I used to have a Nikon P7100. It was crammed full with tactile dials and buttons. Lots of customization for such a camera at the time. I so liked the feel of that camera! The fact that I hardly used it is another matter
